Brokerage service

We broker the deal. They never know who's asking.

Engage Premium Domains to approach the owner of any .ie domain on your behalf. We negotiate under our name as an accredited registrar — your identity never enters the conversation, so the asking price reflects the domain, not your brand.

How the barrier works

Your name stops here

Every approach, email and offer travels through us. The owner negotiates with a registrar, not with a buyer they can research.

01

You

Client

You name the domain, the most you will pay and any deadline. Nothing about you goes any further than us.

PremiumDomains.ie

Your broker

We make the approach, handle every email and negotiate in our own name.

03

Domain owner

The other side

Gets an enquiry from a registrar acting for a client it cannot name. Nothing in it says who wants the domain, or how badly.

Identity barrier. Nothing past this point tells the owner who you are.

Why it matters

The moment they know who you are, the price changes

Domain owners price the buyer, not the domain. A funded company or a recognisable name arriving in the inbox tells them there is money behind it, and the number moves before the conversation starts.

Approaching direct

You email the owner yourself

  • Your company domain is in the email address — they Google you in ten seconds
  • Funding, turnover and press coverage become the valuation
  • Urgency is obvious: they know you have a launch date
  • Walking away is no longer credible — they know you need this name
  • One bad opening offer sets the floor for every number that follows
Approaching through us

We email the owner for you

  • The enquiry comes from an accredited .ie registrar, not from you
  • There is no brand to research and no balance sheet to price against
  • No visible deadline, so time pressure stays on their side of the table
  • We can genuinely walk away — and they know it
  • You approve every number before it is put on the table

The engagement

How an acquisition runs

  1. Step 01

    Brief & budget

You tell us the domain — or the shortlist — plus your absolute maximum and any deadline. We agree a strategy before a single email is sent.

  2. Step 02

    Owner research

We trace the real owner behind the WHOIS privacy, check registration history, hosting, trade marks and whether the name is genuinely in use or parked.

  3. Step 03

    Anonymous approach

The first contact comes from us as an accredited .ie registrar acting for an undisclosed client. Your name never appears.

  4. Step 04

    Negotiation

We open, counter and control the timing on your behalf, reporting back after every exchange. You approve every number before it is offered.

  5. Step 05

    Escrow & transfer

Once your funds are secured in escrow, the domain transfers directly from the owner's registrar to yours. The seller is paid — less fees — only after you confirm it is in your name.

  6. Step 06

    Handover

We coordinate the transfer from the owner's registrar into your account and help you set up DNS. Your name appears on the record at that point — after the price is agreed.

Who we act for

Built for buyers who cannot be seen bidding

Companies & brands

Rebrands, product launches and exact-match .ie names where a public company approaching directly would double the price on sight.

Founders & individuals

You have one name in mind and one shot at it. We keep the approach calm, professional and unattributable to you.

Agencies & advisers

Acquire on behalf of your own client without exposing them — or you — in the negotiation. White-labelled throughout.

Common questions

Does the seller ever find out who I am?

Not while the price is being set, which is when it matters. We contact and negotiate as PremiumDomains.ie acting for an undisclosed client, so the owner never knows who they are dealing with and cannot price the domain against your brand. At transfer the name moves from the owner's registrar to yours, so your details go on the registration record at that point — after the price is agreed. Some deals — for example where a formal transfer agreement or trade mark assignment is required — do need your legal entity named at signing. We tell you before that point, never after.

What if the owner refuses to sell?

Many do at first. A refusal to an anonymous enquiry is far cheaper than a refusal to a named brand, because nothing has been revealed and we can come back later without the price having moved. We will tell you honestly when a name is genuinely not for sale rather than run up your time.

What does it cost?

15% of the final purchase price (plus VAT where chargeable), payable only on completion. There is no retainer, no fee for the research, and nothing to pay if the deal does not complete.

Can you buy more than one domain for me?

Yes. We often work a shortlist of two or three names in parallel so no single owner knows they are the only target — which keeps the leverage on your side.

Do you broker sales as well as acquisitions?

Yes, but through a different door. Selling a domain you already own runs through the marketplace: you list it from your dashboard, delegate your nameservers to prove control, and once we approve it the domain goes live with a branded for-sale page. The terms are the same brokerage agreement and the same 15% success fee, and buyers still deal with us rather than with you — they never see who owns the name. This engagement form is for acquisitions only.
